Butterfly
“This is my story, this is my song. It wasn’t until I was 30 years old that I started down the road to healing, so if you’re thinking you’re too old and it’s too late, you’re not and it’s not. I remember that God Himself was spinning my cocoon, creating a safe place for the quiet work He was planning. Then when all the tears had finally been cried and the nightmares had finally turned into dreams, I was ready to begin my struggle to find my wings. And yes, He was there every step of the way, whispering encouragement to me as I struggled with fear and self-doubt. Today, I fly on faith and yes, He’s still here, helping me fly.” – Esther Tester
Torn, stained and broken
Afraid to be free
I was still a child inside
I was so afraid to fly
Through silent dark
You held my heart
You were calling me “holy”
You were calling me “free”
I am free
The stone is rolled away
I am free
The sun is on my face
I was lost in pride and blinded by the pain
Then You set me free and called me from the grave
Fly, fly
Break free from this chrysalis
Fly, butterfly
Spread your wings
Touch the sky
Butterfly, butterfly, butterfly
Truth was a fire
That burned off my fears
Finally I was breaking through
You were making all things new
Your love has won
My chains undone
Now I’m standing here holy
Now I’m standing here free
(Repeat Chorus)
Fly, fly
You’re free from this chrysalis
Fly, butterfly
Spread your wings
Touch the sky
Butterfly, butterfly, butterfly

“We’ve worshipped along with Nicole at church for years and have always wanted to collaborate on something creative with her but the timing wasn’t right… yet. So as we were writing for this project, it happened… God set up a divine appointment right there in the church aisle and that’s when we all knew this was the time. The nation and the world is so divided these days and there’s no better time than now for the church to step up and lead as a unified body. This was the beat that was pulsing in each of our hearts as we wrote this song. If we don’t unify, then how will they ever see Jesus in us?” – Wayne and Esther Tester
You and me may not always see identically
And there’s some things where we’re simply gonna disagree
A tune of many notes can still have harmony, a symphony
‘Cause I need you and brother, you need me
And they’ll know we are one
By the way we love, by the way we love
And they’ll know we are one
By the way we love, by the way we love
Take my hand and walk a mile with me and you will see
Together we can conquer anything in unity
Through the blood of Christ He turns diversity to family
‘Cause I need you and sister, you need me
(Repeat Chorus)
There is just one Spirit
One hope, one body
We believe, we believe
There is one baptism
One faith and Lord of all
We believe, we believe
(Repeat Chorus 2x)
By the way we love, by the way we love
By the way we love, by the way we love

That’s Who I Am (Part One of Four)
“After Esther and I went through the Freedom Courses I woke up in the middle of the night and started reading God’s Word. God shared with me that I needed to keep myself away from idols. I went into my studio and gathered up all my music awards and threw them in the trash. I had struggled for years with believing the lie that I had to perform to gain approval. Unbeknownst to Esther and I, we both had the same idea about putting the “Who Am I” segment to music so that we could meditate on it by singing it. So about 3 days later of us both having the same thought, I was sitting down at the piano with the book and composing some music for it when Esther walked into the studio and told me that she’d been wanting to do the same thing, so she got on the mic while I played keys and I pressed record and the music simultaneously spilled out of both of us. Afterwards, we realized that many other people might want to meditate on these truths in God’s Word using this song too. And that’s how this all got started. The song has made a huge impact on us. We are now singing God’s truths at all hours of the day and night and it’s a constant source of inspiration.” – Wayne Tester

My New Name
“This song was written out of my “stuck-ness” in my life. I started singing these truths I had read about in the Freedom materials and I started believing the past is really in the past and that God is all about making all things new, including me.” – Wayne Tester
Beloved, so beautiful
Protected, unashamed
Forgiven, presentable
In Jesus
My new name
My new name
Thank You, Father God
For my new name
Established, Your work of art
Adopted, I am free
So treasured, I am loved
In Jesus
(Repeat Chorus)
In Christ I am made holy
In Christ complete
In Christ I am made holy
In Christ complete
(Repeat Chorus 2x)

That’s Who I Am (Part Three of Four)
“Even though my flesh is in a process of sanctification, my spirit will never be any more perfect than it became at the moment when I was seven years old when Jesus and I became one. I love to close my eyes and see myself seated in Heaven because truth be told, that’s actually where I am… right now. You see, when David wrote my favorite Psalm, Psalm 84, which I affectionately call ‘The Banana Psalm’ because it’s the perfect food, David was talking about where he actually was, in the dwelling place of God, not some place He wished He was. We can come boldly before the throne of God because we’re already there. We are not guests in His house, we live there, right now. Let that just blow your mind for a minute...” – Esther Tester
I am a citizen of heaven (echo)
Seated in heaven right now (echo)
I am hidden with Christ in God (echo)
I’m an expression of the life of Christ (echo)
Because He is my life (echo)
I am chosen of God, holy and dearly loved (echo)
I am a son of light (echo)
And not of darkness (echo)
I am a holy partaker (echo)
Of a heavenly calling (echo)
I’m a partaker of Christ (echo)
I share in His life (echo)
I am one of God’s living stones (echo)
Being built up in Christ as a spiritual house (echo)
I am a member (echo)
Of a chosen race (echo)
A royal priesthood (echo)
A holy nation (echo)
A people for God’s own possession (echo)
(All sing)
I am not the great “I am”
But by the grace of God, I am what I am
I am not the great “I am”
But by the grace of God, I am what I am
I am not the great “I am”
But by the grace of God, I am what I am
I am not the great “I am”
But by the grace of God, I am what I am
That’s who I am (echo)
That’s who I am (echo)
That’s who I am (echo)
That’s who I am (echo)

Living In Colour
“I was unhappy and I couldn’t figure out why. So I went on vacation thinking that would replenish my smile… but it didn’t. So as I was completely miserable walking along Florida’s beach voted ‘most beautiful in the nation’, I read Proverbs 27:20 and I realized that as long as my desires didn’t line up with God’s, I would never be happy. I changed that day. Everything changed that day.” – Esther Tester
Desire is like the grave
It can’t be satisfied
Soulsick to pierce the grey
Searching for truth in lies
My spirit cries out loud
And defies my fear and doubt
Praise the Lord, oh my soul
All my inmost being, praise Your Holy Name
Praise the Lord, oh my soul
Every part of me is now a different shade
Living in colour
Now I’m living in colour
Arise, o’ dawn of day
With my new song of light
Above the clouds of grey
The sun defies the night
I’m waking from the lies
Truth has opened up my eyes
(Repeat Chorus)
I will live, I will live by the Spirit of God
I am His, I am His, purchased by His blood
I believe, I believe I’m on eagle’s wings
I receive, I receive, I am free to sing
(repeat)
(Repeat Chorus 2x’s)

Adopted (I Am Home)
Oh how lovely
Oh how safe
I’ve been longing
For this place
Now that I am here
I’m here to stay
Beloved child
Is my new name
I am adopted
I am home
Found by the Father
I belong
I am a child of God
I am a son
I am His
I am known
I am home
I am home
See the sparrow
Raise her young
At His altar
New life’s begun
There is no more fear
All fear is gone
I’ve found a refuge
In His arms
I am adopted
I am home
Found by the Father
I belong
I am a child of God
I am a son
I am His
I am known
I am home
I am home
I am home
I am home
Here in my heart
I feel like a child again
I’m back at the start
But this time I’m here with Him
It’s all been made right
And I’m not afraid this time
Cause I am His child
I am His child
I am adopted
I am home
Found by the Father
I belong
I am a child of God
I am a son
I am His
I am known
I am home
I am home
I am home
I am home
